places to go, things to do....

I've been away at school and coming back to the county to spend some time with my sister before she goes away to college! (aww, what a big girl!)

What is there to do 'round these parts these days? We're thinking things like bowling, hitting up the zoo or aquarium, that sort of thing...

We live in the north part of Calvert County, though we're not averse to driving.

Any ideas?

One other question: I ride horses, but my sister doesn't, really. Does anyone know of any barns in our area that do trail rides?

Good idea, but we're actually really close to there. Is there anything new going on up there? Walking the North Beach boardwalk and getting some Tastee Freez is always a good time...

Really, anything that allows us to spend time with each other.. That's why we were thinking zoo/aquarium/bowling rather than movies. But I'm not really sure what's out there anymore, since it's been about three years since I lived in the county...
