PLEASE change your Facebook and Instagram passwords NOW

Anyone who uses high value (meaning high value to nefarious individuals) websites (like facehook, Twitter, etc.) should be using a password manager that than generate at least 32 character passwords and change their passwords every other month or so.

This is especially true if you travel a lot and use hotel WiFi where you cannot be sure if the hotel network is compromised.

It’s a huge security blunder but shouldn’t be of too much concern if you do your part to protect yourself.

Agreed. I've been using the free version of LastPass for years--NEVER use the same password for any websites.

No facebook account here, for crap like message boards I have no PII on them and I do use the same password for because it doesn't matter if someone posts as me on them.

I read an internet security expert said using the same password is ok for stuff as long as you use different user names/emails etc.
