yea, its sad. kinda hits alittle closer to home as it was my bf's case at work. they took the report of her missing and found her, he talked about her a while. they found her on a road that a good friend of mine lives and in walking distance to her house, and another friend was the tech at the vet she went to. so thats why i am trying to push these dogs around. hope someone adopts them.

the crazy thing is the bf that killed her reported her missing twice. people these days, i tell ya

Wow, how sad...what a freaky story....

Check w/ breed specific rescues as well - and check w/ CAWL...(Calvert Animal Welfare League).

i dont have direct contact with these dogs, they are at the shelter. my friend (the vet tech) that handled these at the clinic is just passing the word around. so i am just putting it out to anyone and everyone.

if anyone is interested i can give you her email and phone number, or you can contact the shelter.

happy to be living
Wouldn't a boxer rescue be able to pull them for the animal shelter and then adopt them out?

They might be able to if they have room for them. A lot of rescues do not have facilities or kennels and the dogs and cats live in foster homes until they are adopted out. Most of them (as well as the ones with facilities) are full to the max right now. And then some!

Ugh. What a tragic story. My heart goes out to the family of the victim. I'll pass the word around also and see if anyone is looking. American Bulldogs are such terrific dogs. That poor dog looks so sad and heartbroken :( I really hope this story has a happy ending!
