33 yrs & we r still n luv
Some kind of rupture around the stomach ........ Had surgery last night and was to have more today. Kind of sketchy but that's what I've been told so far.

I've been remiss with updates.... Sorry. For a very long while it was touch and go. He's lost a colon and a gallbladder. Finally, woke up last weekend!! We believe Sunny telling him to wake up was a factor in that he did!
It's still a long haul till he comes home. But we all believe he will come home. For a while it was scary...........
TIA for the thoughts and prayers. You all rock! Obviously, you all helped.

Well, he was doing so well they were making plans for him to leave ICU and eventually go to rehab....
Amanda just called crying hysterically. He died. She had called me about 11 am when I was picking up Che in PF. Asked me to pick up Sunny from daycare she had to get to the hospital but didn't know why. The nurse didn't say why. He died before she got there.
DH is on his way home from Cherry point and will stop at the hospital in Laplata on his way to see what he/we can do besides keep Sunny.
Please keep everyone in your prayers. It's going to be a long hard road for the family.

Oh no, I'm so very sorry to hear that. My Pop Pop passed away on the 13th so I know what you all are going through right now. I know there's nothing anyone can say but, I'm just so very sorry for your loss. Your family will most definitely be in my thoughts and prayers
