PMP Exam?

Anyone ever take the PMP Exam?

I'm taking the three-day training this weekend, and then have to take the exam. Just wondering if anyone can give me some ideas of what to expect.

If I pass, I'll become CityGrl, PMP. Why does that make me think that I'm becoming a pimp?

I thought there were years of PM experience required before you could qualify?

3 years required. I have 2, plus a year of supporting a specific project at the Navy that will qualify me.

I was told today that I needed to take the PM1 exam. I'm not nor will I ever be a PM so why take it
