Police: Body of 6-year-old Ga. boy missing for a week has been found

Convicted child molester who lives in the kid's neighborhood is being held as a possible suspect. Kid's family are being charged with hampering with the investigation.

Not "Kid's" family....the sex offender's family...his mother, father and family friend.............mother and father knew the child had been abducted, family friend helped bury the child.......but my question is " if you knew a sex offender lived across the street ( and the childs grandmother has stated she knew b/c she looked it up on ga site) WTH were you thinking when you let a 6 yr wander around alone in a trailer park w/ a known sex offender living there?

agreed. if i had a sex offender living across the street, my child would NEVER be outside where i couldn't watch him. I'm going off of my memory, but when i read an article about this, they said that the boys family told him to stay away from that man, and also that the man used to watch the children play. Poor child.

If I knew there was one across the street and they watched my children play, I believe I would be doing time for placing a body in an unmarked grave.
