Police out in SpyGlass

Jeff

Stop Staring!!!!!
Police are out in the Spyglass area. Unsure as to what the initial call was but it sounds as though they have broken up a juvenile party of 2-3 girls & 2-3 guys. Somehow the police already have their cell phones and car keys. Officer says she is going to start calling parents. She also referenced having the keys to a Saab and a Honda as well.

The kids supposedly ran out back and are currently hiding in the woods. :pete:

1:44 AM Police advising they ran from a tent on the beach.
1:48 Officers passing phone numbers to dispatch so they can call and tell on the late night party goers.:lmao: Officers requesting parents to come to the area and take custody of the tent, children, pick up the trash and pick up all the empty bottles all over the beach.:otter:
1:59 Police now apparently have the cell phone number of another juvenile that is in the woods. Asking Headquarters to call it and ask him to come out of the woods. Also looked for any past involvements with the juvenile. There is one and they are researching that to come up with a phone number for his parents as well. No answer on the cell phone but they did come up with a parents phone number. :busted:
2:04 Officers on the scene have come up with yet another cell phone. Came up with a name and now attempting to contact the parents of this kid as well.
I guess the police rolled up on the little tent party and everybody booked into the woods and left their cell phones, car keys and who knows what else laying in the tent.
2:08 Another officer is now out with 3 of the kids. Apparently they were trying to swim up/down the shoreline.
2:11 Some of the parents are now on the way. ETA of 30 minutes.
2:20 One officer advises he now has 5 subjects and now getting all their names.
2:22 A couple of the crew appear to be above 21. Police requesting an additional officer for a vehicle search.
2:43 Police still making contact with several parents to get them out and have them clean up the mess.
I wonder if the cops will let the parents have the leftover beer/booze? Hell, they could have called me to run over there and pick that up for them.
3:13 Parents starting to show now. Apparently not all of the kids have come out of the woods yet. I think at least two are still unaccounted for, possibly more but hard to tell.
3:17 Apparently one parent showed up, drove around for an hour trying to find the officers/kids, gave up and then went back home. Officers on the scene advising dispatch to tell him to come pick up his intoxicated child as he is not driving.
4:14 Not much more being passed of any interest. Time to get offline and do a few things.
