Police Pursuit Just ended

Stop Staring!!!!!
Not sure exactly what happened but the police just grabbed some dude. If I understood what happened he was pulled over and decided to run while the officer had his hand through the window.

Suspect fled, the officer was ok and pursued. Several other officers joined the chase. Not sure where it started at but when I picked it up they were on Hollywood - Leonardtown Rd heading toward Leonardtown.

The subject is now is custody. All police officers are OK..

I don't know how the chase actually ended. I know they were setting up Stop Sticks somewhere but was unable to determine if the Stop Sticks got the suspect or what. He apparently did not crash as I heard no Ambulance being dispatched.

MSP has the case. And another dangerous driver off the road. :yay:

Don't the "clowns" know that our Deputies (and State) have something called a RADIO!

:lmao: The radio doesn't scare me. It's those guns and jail cells that I don't much care for.

I think people tend to forget. The absolute first thing a COP does when they pull you over is get on the radio and call your tag in and give a cross street location of the traffic stop. Even before they speak to your there is someone on the other end of that radio pulling up your information. If you have been popped for Alcohol, Weapons, Drugs or whatever, it is flagged in their system when they run your information. If the dispatcher is quick enough, their system is working right and they are not too busy, quite often they are reading these 'flags' back to the officer as they are approaching your vehicle and have not even spoken to you yet.

Something else I get a kick out of are these Restrictions put on your Drivers licenses. Like The Corrective Lense deal. There are evidently another couple of them that strike me as odd. Maybe one of our local officers will chime in here and elaborate.

Sometimes I hear them say there is an "ALCOHOL" Restriction. Also I have heard a Restriction to the effect that there is a requirement for Side Mirrors. :lmao: Heck I always thought those two were kind of common sense deals and were not actually put on a drivers license. I guess people with these Restrictions have actually had problems remembering them in the past and the DMV puts them on the License as a reminder :lmao:
