Politics of Covid-19

What I've read on other forums are comments from people talking about having covid. But many of the people are vaccinated and double/triple boosted. So why are they still saying get the shot if they still got covid .? People have been brainwashed into believing this.

“Unexpected”: MRNA Vaccines Increase Risk of Contracting COVID-19; Each Booster Shot Raises Risk Even More in Study of 51,000 Cleveland Clinic Workers

A stunning pre-print study by the Cleveland Clinic published Monday at medRxiv shows that MRNA vaccines raise the risk of contracting COVID-19 and that each MRNA vaccine booster increases the risk of contracting COVID-19, while those who have not received any MRNA vaccine have the lowest risk of contracting COVID-19. While the increased risk was relatively minimal, the result is the opposite of how the vaccines have been sold and mandated by government authorities. The highest risk was for those who received more than three vaccines.

The study was reported by the Cleveland Clinic’s Nabin K. Shrestha, Patrick C. Burke, Amy S. Nowacki, James F. Simon and Amanda Hagen, Steven M. Gordon.

Quote from the study: “The association of increased risk of COVID-19 with higher numbers of prior vaccine doses in our study, was unexpected.”
Many of us saw this correlation a year or more ago.

Washington Post report blasted for stating 'the obvious' about benefits of exercise on COVID 2 years later

The study, which was published in the American Journal of Preventative Medicine, examined the impact of physical inactivity on COVID-19 outcomes.

The findings, Reynolds wrote, "add to mounting evidence that any amount of exercise helps lower the ferocity of coronavirus infections."

The Washington Post column did not sit well with critics on Twitter, who blasted the outlet for taking several years to confirm what most of the public had known since the pandemic's onset. Others pointed to the column as vindication for gym owners who defied lockdowns to keep their businesses open at the height of the outbreak.

When will these idiots learn to shut their traps till more information is available. Biden now doing the same thing he accused Trump of being xenophobic

IMO it doesn't matter where the people come from. Covid is global. Maybe Bumbledork should START with our southern border. Illegals coming from EVERYWHERE. It's just a show from this Administration. Again.

Whitmer did not mention any specific companies. She did not mention any specific Trump administration official who was blocking the sales.

Crain's Detroit Business:

"When the federal government told us that we needed to go it ourselves, we started procuring every item we could get our hands on," Whitmer said Friday on WWJ 950AM. "What I've gotten back is that vendors with whom we had contracts are now being told not to send stuff here to Michigan."
Whitmer didn't say who has told vendors to stop sending medical supplies to the state, but strongly implied the order came from President Donald Trump's administration.
The governor's office could not provide any additional information Friday afternoon substantiating Whitmer's allegation.

Grandstanding Michigan Gov Suggests Trump Admin Telling Vendors Not to Send the State Medical Supplies
Nothing new here.

🔥 Meanwhile, Joe Biden, who called President Trump’s China travel ban racist and “xenophobic,” is on the job. The Hill ran a story yesterday headlined, “US To Impose New Restrictions on Travelers From China Amid COVID Outbreaks.” The U.S. already requires foreign travelers to have at least two doses of the safe and effective vaccines, but is now adding a testing requirement, since the safe and effective vaccines are so very very effective.

You can’t make this stuff up. Remember when they said you would need the vaccines to travel internationally? Haha, suckers. We’re back to tests.

Anyway, the situation is apparently so urgent that, unlike the Italians who already started testing, the U.S.’s Chinese travel testing requirement doesn’t start for a week, by which time any new covid variant circulating in China will be fully delivered to spike-tolerant Americans and, like everything else the Biden Administration does, the testing requirement will just be performance theater.

[clip]

Ironically, while China’s Marxist government just stopped requiring its citizens to show proof of a negative test to move around inside that country, now all the western countries are imposing tests on those same citizens to travel OUTSIDE the country. It’s a de facto lockdown. We’re locking the Chinese back down.

🔥 Yesterday I reported about the record covid deaths in Japan this week — in spite of that country’s high vaccination rate (82%). During my research later in the day, I noticed another curious fact: Japan has the highest booster uptake. By a lot.

Covid vaccination has flatlined worldwide, everywhere but Japan. The U.S. comes in second, but is on a diving trajectory heading straight down. China is third place, but at very small numbers, especially relative to its population. The figures suggest those may just be the Chinese facing international jab mandates for travel and visiting foreign educational institutions. Everywhere else in the world the numbers are trivial.

The Tampa Bay Times recently ran a roundup of letters to the editor about the falling booster rates among Florida seniors. Most of the letters blamed Governor DeSantis, because he’s “anti science” or something, but the Times did run one letter describing a vaccine injury.

Six months ago, there’s NO WAY that lone anti-jab letter would have seen print. Progress.

Also, I don’t know who needs to hear this, but “science” is a skeptical method of investigation, not a collection of approved beliefs.

If I may ...
For your consideration ...

To the CDC, FDA, Pfizer, and anyone who approved this snake oil concoction? Where the eff is Comirnaty that was actually approved on August 23, 2021? Why are they still running under the EUA with the original? People are still being given the EUA shot, as well as EUA boosters, as well as those approved for children beginning at 6 months old, still under an EUA. Why??? Because they know it'll bring the entire house of cards down upon themselves???

Every COVID shot given, original, booster, et el, is still being given under the EUA protocols after almost a year and a half after supposed approval. With no approved shot, with the name Comirnaty on the vial label, being given at all. The experimental culling of humanity continues unabated.

🔬 Last month, New York Magazine ran a long-overdue story headlined, “Why Spending Time With Kids Might Actually Help Protect You From COVID.” The gist is that researchers found — completely unsurprisingly — that “exposure to young children was strongly associated with less severe COVID-19 illness.”

Imagine that. In other words, hysterical teachers demanding protection during the pandemic from all those little disease vectors were also hurting themselves. It’s sort of karmic.

Specifically, the study’s researchers reviewed the medical records of more than three million adults in the Kaiser Permanente Northern California health system, and found that the beneficial effect of being around kids wasn’t just a little statistical signal. It was huge:

[T]hose without identifiable household exposure to children based on health insurance enrollment had a 27% higher rate of COVID-19 hospitalization and a 49% higher rate of COVID-19 hospitalization requiring ICU admission than those with young children.

“Why Spending Time With Kids Might Actually Help Protect You From COVID.”
For a few years I was a counselor in a before and after school program at the youth center in a housing area at Wright-Patterson AFB.
I loved the job helping the kids, but had to quit after the little plague rats gave me viral pneumonia in January 1993 and January 1994.

“People with a COVID-19 diagnosis in the previous 14 days who were admitted to hospital, admitted to ICU or reported as having died in the two weeks ending 31 December 2022”

The results were staggering, providing important data against the endless demonization of the unvaccinated and expert derived media claims about the unvaccinated overwhelming hospitals.

At first glance, you might be wondering where the bar representing unvaccinated hospitalizations is located.

It’s hard to see, because it doesn’t exist.

That’s correct. Within this two week period, there wasn’t a single unvaccinated person in the hospital with COVID in New South Wales.

There were, however, 810 people who’d received at least four doses, 377 who’d received three doses, 218 who were, quaintly, at one point considered fully vaccinated with two doses, and 10 with one dose.

Now obviously discussions of this nature are often impacted by the base rate fallacy. Meaning simply that if everyone in a population is vaccinated, every hospitalization would be among a vaccinated person.

Attention Please, COVID Is Not Over. We Repeat, COVID Is Not Over.

Well, for most of us it is, but not for the Biden administration. Because, well, reasons. On Wednesday, HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra announced that the COVID-19 state of emergency has been extended another 90 days in the declaration “Renewal of Determination that a Public Health Emergency Exists.”

Fox News had the full declaration, which reads:

As a result of the continued consequences of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, on this date and after consultation with public health officials as necessary, I, Xavier Becerra, Secretary of Health and Human Services, pursuant to the authority vested in me under section 319 of the Public Health Service Act, do hereby renew, effective January 11, 2023, the January 31, 2020, determination by former Secretary Alex M. Azar II, that he previously renewed on April 21, 2020, July 23, 2020, October 2, 2020, and January 7, 2021, and that I renewed on April 15, 2021, July 19, 2021, October 15, 2021, January 14, 2022, April 12, 2022, July 15, 2022, and October 13, 2022, that a public health emergency exists and has existed since January 27, 2020, nationwide.

I am sure that for the chronic masker and vax fan in your life, this is welcome news. But since the pandemic is tied directly to keeping Title 42 in place, which is something the president and DHS are both eager to be rid of, one wonders why the announcement was made this week. And while the news out of China is grave and people continue to contract the disease in the U.S., Americans by and large have learned how to live with the idea of COVID-19, and the disease is no longer the infectious boogeyman it once was. The administration has continued to push vaccination, despite evidence that the vaccines came with serious complications for some and were not effective in preventing the spread of the virus, as were most masks.
