Polls

The only thing all these polls prove is that polls are worthless and FOS. Harris is up! No, Trump is up! Now Harris is up! Trump is up!

The only reason I care about polls showing Trump winning is because I know it causes visceral pain to Dembots, and that makes me happy.

It's the election day poll that counts, and we still have early voting, mail in ballots, ballot stuffing, illegals registered to vote, and the same criminal poll workers that we had when Joe Biden walked away with the election.

From the past several elections now, I'm convinced that polling is only vague at best. Very few polling firms were able to be consistent across the board.

If the polls are accurate one would think they'd all agree for the most part, and yet some polls show Trump ahead, some polls show Kamala ahead, different states are different, blah blah blah.

I was just reading an old Nate Silver article, and he says the hardest thing to measure is an election where the outcome is CLOSE. You can have a margin of error as big as 3%, but the election could go either way inside that.

Husband says the Democrats want to tell anyone they can about how they "feel" about things. Republicans typically just hang up on the poll takers. That is why all the polls are saying that Harris is up. Because they are only talking to Democrats who support her. Trump supporters told them to pound sand.

I really like voting on election day, but keep reading that they want us to vote absentee.

Opinions?

A few days out from the debate, I'm feeling a little better about Trump's performance. The reaction of Undecideds in all the networks' focus groups is promising.

Reps still need to campaign like they are 10 points behind though.
I think the debate added nothing to who’s voting for who, the decided are never going to change their minds and the debate wasn’t helpful in making a decision. On the other hand, Taylor Swift coming out for Kamala will probably get a lot of younger people to vote who would have stayed home.

I've said in another thread, wife and I requested a mail-in ballot. Bank the vote. Too big to rig. (Yeah, I'm in MD. My vote for President means nothing.)

I’m with you - Election Day only voting. It’s like a social - talk to your neighbors, the familiar poll workers, and of course the electioneers. What fun is mail-in? Will the post office get it to the right place or will they lose it? Early voting - I won’t know the poll workers and doubt I will see my neighbors since the polling location (Hollywood FH) serves the entire county. JMO

In person on election day. That's one of the things I missed when Monello and I were on the road.

I AGREE that they need to campaign like they're 10 points behind!!

I've seen various and sundry of the punditry say the same of Trump (including Kayleigh McEnany, one of his Press Secretaries) "Trump is Trump" and he could have pivoted better, but ... he's still going to do Trump.

I think he's going to win.
