I want one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pomsky Puppies Lovers Club

:cds: SO CUTEEEEE.

My shiba inu always gets mistaken for a husky puppy. The breed is sister to Akitas. I'd be interested in learning more about the Pomsky breed myself bc I love the look of huskies but could never handle that size right now.

Maggie's coloring definitely makes her look husky-ish. Or like a wolf. I've been asked several times if she was a wolf puppy

From what I read, they stay small, around 15 to 20 pounds.

YEAH.... but my worry is all the effed up health issues breeding a large dog with a toy breed.

and knowing the health issues each of them have

I think they're adorable, too. I have purebred poms and I think they're great dogs.

....although, if I ever get another dog again, I will never get a purebred anything. It will be a mutt.

I hear ya....

My next "pets" will always be mutts or from the shelter from now on.... but my working dogs I will look at pure breed from proven breeders.

I have lucked out with a few that i have saved.

Ours are mutts, a Corgi/Kees mix and a Pom/Chihuahua mix. 30lbs vs 4lbs, the tug of war games are hilarious. One sided, but hilarious........ okay, we call then games of drag.......:killingme

These are my sweethearts. They're pretty awesome little guys. I think poms are great dogs.

They vary so much in size and appearance that it's hard for me to identify them sometimes. Mine are about 8 lbs each but I've seen quite a few that are bigger and smaller. They also come in silvers and blacks, too, so you could probably get a Pom that looks very similar to the picture without it even being a mix. It would be wicked expensive but I don't doubt that it's possible.

I wish my dogs would live as long as me. These little guys are 10 and 11. Their lifespan is generally somewhere around 18 years and I'm already having a tough time with the thought of them aging.

What adorable little guys! They look very young, and I suppose they will be around a long time. When my babies go, I'll get a mutt also. My last mutt lived until she was 21 years old. One of my Bostons lived until he was a bit over 18, and the last one only lived for 10 years.

So our one dog is a Pomchi, but nobody has a name for the Kees/Corgi

I thought about getting a shiba inu as my next dog. They are very cute!

I've been in love with the breed ever since I met one over 10 years ago. Maggie gets so much attention wherever we go! She's definitely a beautiful dog. But they are an incredibly stubborn and finicky breed! Not for unexperienced dog owners! If you ever have questions about them, I'm more than happy to share my experiences :buddies:

Hey FF, Maggie and I might stop in Pepper's sometime this weekend to pick up food and treats. She kind of needs a new collar too. Will you be around?
