Pool Table Help

I bought a used pool table from a friend and it needs some work. The rails are pretty dead and it could use new felt. I searched online and only found L&G Billiard in the Park but their number doesn't work. Is there a Billiard supply/repair company in the area that anyone can reccomend? Thanks.

I was

hoping to be able to stop in and talk to them and maybe schedule them to come and refurbish the table. I'll check out the link. Thanks.

I was going to buy a used one but when I checked prices of having it refurbished, I just ended up buying a new table. I never knew it was so much to refurbish a pool table. Hope you can find someone to give you a good deal.

Charlie Brown's in Waldorf. I had a guy named Matt come out to finish the set up.

I'll try them too. I originally bought it for my 13 year old to have something to do. Do you remember what you had done and what it cost?

If you have some basic skills, refurbing a table shouldnt be a thing you cant DIY. Bought mine used, broke it down and rebuilt if here myself (with a little help in the hefting of the 1 inch slate pieces. But refelting and replacing the rails, those things dont require any movement of the slate, it's a about 10-14 bolts for the rails and 12 bolts for the pocket irons.

I reused the felt that came with, and the rails, but in that sense, new felt is easier, and while I havent done the rails, it's not super hard from appearances. Just take your time.

Thanks. I am pretty handy so there shouldn't be a problem doing it myself. I would just need to order the new rails, felt and pockets.
