Brony is the name for the fans of My Little Pony, who range in age from toddlers to grandparents. There is a huge convention in Baltimore every year for the last few years.

Bronies are adult men who are fans of MLP.

They are pretty harmless, just people who like a cartoon and the characters, not really different from people who go to Walking Dead conventions or Comic-Con. There have been some big bullying cases in the last few years with school, I remember 1 kid tried to commit suicide because of being bullied and ended up in a coma, another kid was being bullied at school and the school's response was to have the boy stop bring his My Little Pony backpack to school and maybe the bullies would leave him alone.

I chase a little white ball around large fields of grass and hit it with a variety of sticks. That might seem strange to some, but not as strange as grown men that are MLP fans. :twitch:

Wasn't the documentary filmed in Baltimore? That was a good week for Baltimore, two big conventions back to back over the summer: Brony Con and then a Comic Convention, lots of people in town spending money. Good for the taxpayers and good for the economy, and on the plus side the attendees are not the violent criminal kind that cause civil unrest, just kids and grownups who like cartoons and comic books who have money to spend.
