What is with this Pope? He needs to stick with religious things and butt out of our media and politics. He's not even a freaking American, so not sure why he thinks he is qualified to blather on about what goes on in our country.

The pope's comments on disinformation followed widespread debate in the United States over whether fake news on the internet might have swayed voters toward Republican candidate Donald Trump.

I see this more as a message to Catholics than to the media. There are about 70 million Catholics in this country. Potentially a huge influence.

Haven't heard from the old popester lately. I guess his choice lost the election, so he jumped on the fake news bandwagon. But I agree with his take that those that spread it are no better than the crap they lay out.
