:yay:

One of the highest points of satisfaction in parenthood is the successful training of potty.

No more diapers... no more "do you have to go now?"

Ahhhh.....

On the other hand, from now on, any trip you take that's longer than 15 minutes will be punctuated with frequent "I have to go to the bathroom" announcements, the urgency of which increases at a mind-blowing pace.

How did you train him?

It was so hot back home so i decided not to put him in a pull up. he was outside most of the time playing or swimming. I also have a 3 and 4 year old brother and sister that are potty trained. That really helped. He saw them going so he would follow them. I have been so busy this week he just started going all by himself. Even in a 3 hour car ride back home last night he didn't pee at all. It was a lucky thing. I will take what i can get...lol! I am just so happy. My daughter is 10 months and she tugs on her diaper when she pees so i know she will easy. Then i am all done!

Congrats on the new milestone.:yahoo: We have now been diaper free for going on two months or so. I have been putting pull ups on her only at night, and for a week now the pull up has been dry when she gets up. Mind you, she is waking up a 4 a.m. now because she has to pee :killingme I'm sleep deprived once again cuz once she's up, she's up for good. If she ain't sleeping, aint nobody sleeping. :banghead:

My little girl is trying. She can normally catch the poop before she starts, sometimes it's not till mid-way, but she makes an effort to get on the toilet and finish. Same with the pee. She's only 2 tomorrow, so I'm not rushing her, but I have another one due at the beginning of July and I would love to only have one in diapers, not two.

She spent most of the weekend in the pool at home, naked mind you, but she used her potty religiously. Maybe it was the easy access or something, I don't know, but she would annouce that she had to go, get out of the pool and go.

or maybe it was her running around nude that helped because she didn't like the pee running down her leg?

You've had such sad news lately that I'm glad that you finally have something great to post. I have been "diaper-free" since April. It's such a great feeling. Congrats on your "big boy's" accomplishment!! :yahoo:

I know. It is making me feel less stress and upset. I have so much to look forward to. It couldn't of happen at a better time. Thank you. I am really going to try to be a positive and chipper person from now on. Not everything has to be such a big deal. I am just going to enjoy my life and not let the little things bother me. Hope you have a great day.
