I have a son turning Four this fall. Can anyone recommend a good pre-school program in the Lusby/Solomons area? Has anyone dealt with SPUMPS at St. Paul?

My son will be in the 4 yo program at the Episcopal church in Lusby next to SMILE. He was in the 3 YO program. They are great, but I think they might already be full.

We are in the Dowell Elem area. I'll have to find out if they have a Pre-K program. We go to St. Paul Church, so I was thinking about sending him there. One day I was in the office and I saw one of the teachers having a nervous breakdown in the hallway. She was crying and fighting with someone. Then I saw her walking down the road, crying and talking on her cell phone. It just made me a little nervous. I wondered if I could get some other pre-school names in the area...
Thanks for everyones input! :huggy:

Why look at St. Mary's County, try Christian Beginnings Preschool at St. John Vianney in Prince Frederick. Good Teachers. Good reputation with the school system. 410-535-0223

My daughter went to SPUMPS for 2 years and loved her time there (although the teacher she had is no longer there). My son went to the preschool lab program at Patuxent High School (Helping Hands) for 2 years. I have to say that I can't really tell you that my daughter is any better for having had "real" teachers vs. the students learning about childhood ed. I really enjoyed our time at Helping Hands and all of the students were great with the kids. It is also very inexpensive, especially considering what you are getting in return, and there were approximately 2-3 students per "teacher" in the class, so the kids got all kinds of attention.
