Or he would start talking about one thing, then drift off to talking about another without any distractions. He also would start building to a point, making a case for something, then jump off the tracks.

Silly me, I was listening to the ideas, not the delivery. Of course, he's said a lot of things in the past and not followed through.

There is a lot of truth in that.

He can deliver a strong, sincere speech when he's PO'd but his run of the mill political mouthings are a disaster.
