Did you listen to it? He sounded almost as incoherent as Kennedy! He had a very tough time uttering a complete sentence for starters. He would start with a thought, seem to have his attention shifted by something in the audience, then shift to a new topic without finishing the first one. Or he would start talking about one thing, then drift off to talking about another without any distractions. He also would start building to a point, making a case for something, then jump off the tracks.

Almost sounds par for the course for Bush.

Silly me, I was listening to the ideas, not the delivery. Of course, he's said a lot of things in the past and not followed through.

Someone needs to make him mad before a speech... stomp on his toe or whatever it takes to put him in gear...

There is a lot of truth in that.

He can deliver a strong, sincere speech when he's PO'd but his run of the mill political mouthings are a disaster.
