Let me spare you the clickover. It's essentially a quick rewrite of the nymag article linked to in the text. Here's the last part of the article (the "resources" line at the end was no doubt added because MSN cares; methinks, however, it's to lend an air of gravitas to a pathetic bit of reporting):

At least 15 women have accused Trump of sexual misconduct, with many coming forward in the wake of the 2016 Access Hollywood tape, in claims that range from harassment to sexual assault. “Receiving death threats, being driven from my home, being dismissed, being dragged through the mud, and joining the 15 women who’ve come forward with credible stories about how the man grabbed, badgered, belittled, mauled, molested, and assaulted them, only to see the man turn it around, deny, threaten, and attack them, never sounded like much fun. Also, I am a coward,” she wrote.

The entire read is worth your time (about 2-3 minutes), but here are the concluding paragraphs (bold is my emphasis):

Suppose a woman came forward today to accuse Bret Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct. I think any fair observer would dismiss the claim on the grounds that it wasn’t made last year, when the kitchen sink was being hurled at the Supreme Court nominee.

The same thinking applies, albeit a little less forcefully, to Carroll’s allegation. Coupled with the fact that she’s promoting a new book, I think it militates strongly in favor of refusing to take her rape allegation seriously.

If Carroll manages to come forward with solid evidence to support her claim of rape, only then should we entertain it. And to me, having a friend say that Carroll told her about the alleged rape soon after it supposedly occurred is not solid evidence. Enlisting a friend to bolster an accusation against someone as despised in Carroll’s circle as Trump is shouldn’t impress us.

E. Jean Carroll isn’t just late to the party, she’s late to the after-party. Until further notice, she should be viewed as a book hustler, not a credible accuser.

Seriously? I believe most of the things brought up about Trump from years back. He was a NY business man. He was powerful and connected. I have no doubt he acted every bit the way he is portrayed. But you bring up Clinton. It was well known before he became president about his little affair with Jennifer Flowers. So what. It was what happened after he was president that was disgusting. His actions with a young intern while he was president shamed the office. So far everything brought out against Trump is from before he was elected. There has been no hint of any sex scandal while he has been president, something Bill couldn't say because he couldn't keep it in his pants. There's a lot of valid criticisms of the Trump presidency, but using decades old dirt on him doesn't cut it. When he is caught getting a BJ in the oval office, let us know. Then I will say he sunk to the deviant level of Bill Clinton.

I can tell you right now that Donald Trump wasn't in the women's dressing room at Bergdorf's 20 years ago. You don't just go into those dressing rooms, you are escorted in and they have an army of sales ladies standing guard/waiting to help. I guarantee you they didn't let Trump in there.

So not only is this woman lying, it's not a very good lie, and it doesn't appear she's ever even been in Bergdorf Goodman or she'd have come up with a better story.

What's disturbing is that all these Manhattan media people know this. They live there and are chi-chi enough that they have certainly been in that store. They know damn well Donald Trump was not permitted access to the dressing room. And yet they are running with this bullshit story anyway.
