“There are a lot of people out there that have done some very very evil things, very bad things. I would say treasonous things against our country,” Trump said. “And hopefully, people that have done such harm to our country, we’ve gone through a period of really bad things happening. Those people will certainly be looked at. I have been looking at them for a long time.”

Naturally, you understand that the President doesn't get to decide who should or should not be investigated criminally...you understand this right?

And that Trump's repeated calls for the DOJ to investigate his enemies is the exact opposite of how a President is supposed to act? You get that right?

Oh...sorry...no you don't.

Wait, I thought that the reason the DoJ wasn't investigating HRC is that Trump told them not to. You guys need to pick a story and stick with it.

Actually, it is not "his" enemies in question here...it is enemies of the truth and rule of law. So, it seems there's someone who doesn't get it, but not the OP

Where and when did Trump call out any specific person? "Trump did not specifically name the people he wanted to be investigated but hinted that they had a lot to do with triggering the special counsel investigation." Why do you put yourself out for such ridicule every day?

You do realize that the former Jack Ass in Chief initiated the counter intelligence investigation, that his FBI used a fabricated "dossier" to get FISA warrants. We call that domestic spying and it's against the law. They basically lied to the FISA court, ok, withheld pertinent information, in order to get the surviellance approved. His Attorney General, his FBI,

But that's okay, because well intended liberals shouldn't be prosecuted for breaking the laws.

Mr. Obama brought decency and civility to the Office of the Presidency. It’s wrong, and perhaps even racist to accuse him of FISA abuses.
LMFAO!! Just when I thought you couldn't be stupider, you lower the bar even more.

IMO Obama's biggest scandal was his participation in email's to Hillary Clinton's private server.
There is no way he did not know that he was not tied into a secure server when he emailed her.
And then to have Comey and Lynch refuse to pursue it was a great scandal in itself.

"The power of the Executive Branch is vested in the President of the United States, who also acts as head of state and Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces. The President is responsible for implementing and enforcing the laws written by Congress and, to that end, appoints the heads of the federal agencies, including the Cabinet."
-Whitehouse.gov

When the president appoints an agency head (like the attourney general) he delegates authority, but does not abdigate authority.

You see this all the time with presidential pardons. If the president can authorize the pardon of a federal crime, he can surely authorize the investigation and charging of a crime. It's part and parcel.
