Presidential Uniforms

Our proud history.
A little presidential history that gives one pause since it constitutes a
reflection of the electorate the placed them in power.

Does this really belong in the "joke" section??? Maybe most of us wish it would all dissipate just like a bad joke would.

Sadly, it is not a joke. Clinton and Obama are not patriots, but instead chose to join the new world order of the elite that want to rule the world. God bless America, stand beside her, guide her, and keep her through the night with the light from above. :patriot: I have to say I would trade Obama to have Clinton back. At least, Clinton is not a Muslim extremist jihadist; he is just an adulterer/fraudulent liar, and has no values, and he hates Obama. Is this funny? No, it is the truth. Sadly.

You realize that Bush 41 made the concept of 'new world order' a core tenet of his governing philosophy, yes?

And his son made it a reality?

While I do like the general idea of having served as being a pretty good resume enhancer for a future in politics, just looking at the list and reflecting on what the various presidencies wrought, it is certainly no predictor of good results for the nation.

Ham sammich...LMAO Got me there! :buddies:
(That man scares me almost as much as Hillary does)

So, the lesson is to be careful about generalizations. It is NOT, in my view, as simple as saying "Someone served, therefore they automatically WILL be a better elected leader than someone who did not serve."

That's partly why I HATE this reflexive calling of any and everyone in uniform, soldiers, cops, firemen, 'heroes'. Shortchanges those who truly are. Or were.

You do realize no president runs a country(at least not any more). Eisenhower warned us about the "military industrial complex" and no one listened as things went downhill from there. Reagan was elected because people wanted a break from the "same old-same old" . That didn't work since back door politics(CIA-Bush senior) ran the govt while Reagan napped. How long has Kissinger and others e.g. Dick Cheney,Rumsfeld been around, one president after another. A lot of Obama people are left overs from Clinton who used leftovers from Bush.
Jesse Ventura put together an interesting documentary as to what the military industrial complex has been doing behind the scenes. How much is theory and how much is fact?-you can make that determination!

Then, what was the point of listing all those individuals?

Then, why not make the same excuse for Obama?

I don't want to be rough about this but, I am bored to tears over this incessant tarring of Obama coupled with the argument that things were oh, so better with this guy or that guy or the other which, clearly was not the case FOLLOWED by the excuse of "well, of course, no ONE man is responsible for everything, it's the press, the opposition, the circumstances, the weather..."

Obama is DREADFUL. However, he is merely a socialist failing at socialist policies we already know don't work. For my money, Bush was FAR worse because A, he was not supposed to be a socialist and B, he instituted socialist policies on issue after issue that, gee whiz, didn't work and C, most importantly, for 6 years had ALL the power he needed to do as he pleased.

The problems are as you say BUT, if we're going to make the excuses for 'our' guys and then pretend there are no excuses for the other guys, that's all we'll ever have; the parties taking turns destroying this nation because they ARE socialists and mean to be, which doesn't work, and we are socialists, in effect, and claim otherwise solely for the purpose of getting OUR chance to screw things up.

We, the people of the limited government persuasion, have to reject socialism AND hold our OWN side responsible and NOT allow them to betray us as Bush did. The other side won't do it because they don't want to.

It's up to us and trying to polish the turds of left wing, big gummint policies of Richard Nixon and George W. Bush ain't going to make anything better when we get the chance to lead again.
