I'm on a Windows machine...how do I print my screen?

You have to hit a combination of buttons...

Hit Alt, Print Screen, then open Word and Hit Ctrl-V

hit the ALT button and the Print Screen button.

To copy the window or screen contents

To make a copy of only the active window, press ALT+PRINT SCREEN.
To copy the entire screen as it appears on your monitor, press PRINT SCREEN.
Note

To paste the image into a document, click the Edit menu in the document window, and then click Paste.

Another quick way:

Hold down CTRL, hit Print Scrn

Open MS Paint, and paste

Save the file as a .jpeg
