Pool table is already out there, 700 square feet for playspace, but it's unconditioned space, wood stove but no A/C. Didnt really want to put a huge amount of money out there, but wanted a big screen for gaming and such for teen parties.
Solution, frreecycle 2007 model year 57 inch Mitsubishi Diamond Series DLP set for free. Picture is slightly blurry but turns out that Mits built these with a lubricant grease that vaporized in the heat of the bulb. Disassemble light engine, clean lens of gunk, get new bulb for $40 from Amazon. Shazzam, 1080p 57 inch display with 2 HDMI inputs and a six color light engine.
