Conner Wolfe, prospect research coordinator in the Institutional Advancement office, helped organize and previewed the Apra Maryland Fall Virtual Conference via Facebook live with Sara Anello from Salisbury University and moderated by Jay Frost, considered among the top fundraisers in the nation. The conference ran Nov. 11 – 12, 2020.
Apra Maryland is the professional development and networking resource for Maryland-area fundraising professionals who harness information and data to drive philanthropy. Wolfe joined the board in November 2019.
The conference was virtual for the first time and featured 23 speakers and 15 breakout sessions on topics including prospect research, prospect management, data analytics, and professional and career development.
According to Wolfe, “Like so many things in 2020, we were challenged by moving to an entirely virtual programming model but adapted to provide an outstanding conference as a capstone to a year of incredible growth for Apra Maryland. Our conference theme of Finding the Silver Lining was all about finding the positives in what has been a tough year.”
