Protest Shootings

Drivers encountering the marching crowds, which are occupying streets illegally, have few choices: wait for the crowd to go away, try to drive away, or drive through if they can. All of these choices come with considerable risks. Drivers also have to hope that no one in the crowd decides to target or terrorize them, as has happened in Austin and several other cities in recent weeks. This march was happening shortly before 10 p.m. on a Saturday night.

“Whether the guy drove into the crowd voluntarily, or just found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time, my understanding is that he was surrounded by the mob,” the source said. “The deceased approached the car and raised the AK toward the driver, who shot him multiple times in the torso. As soon as the crowd started running away, the driver took the opportunity to escape, and started to drive away down Congress. One of the other armed protesters shot several rounds into the back of his car as he was driving away.”

Video posted on social media from the dashcam of another car confirms that the streets were still open to traffic and that the car in question was surrounded by members of the crowd.

“The driver voluntarily stopped several blocks away and waited for law enforcement to contact him,” the source added. “There is no indication that the shooter was in the area for the protests, or that politics played any role in his decision to shoot the guy. I heard the shooter is an army sergeant who was in the area working as an Uber driver, but I can’t confirm that.”

It was bound to happen sooner or later.
People have the right to protect themselves from armed mobs.

If you go out to cause destruction or property and interfere with another persons right to free passage you are asking to get yourself hurt. It's time that law enforcement was allowed to do their job,

But in many states/localities the libtards severely limit the Constitutionally authorized tools you can have with you to protect yourself. They fail to see the irony in allowing protesters to use the 1A to justify their lawlessness yet deny the 2A to people for self-protection during the lawlessness.

Lock and load folks. This isn't going to get better. You need to be prepared when Trump wins in November.

Oh, STFU crabitcher79..

Man At BLM Event In CO Allegedly Fires At Jeep That Was Allegedly Fleeing Incident; TX Driver Kills BLM Protester Who May Have Aimed AK-47 At Him, Police Say

In Colorado, a Jeep that was allegedly fleeing a violent incident drove through a Black Lives Matter event where one of the protesters opened fire on the Jeep. Two people were struck and taken to local hospitals. Police said it was not clear if the protester was the only person who fired a weapon or if other people did as well.

“While the Jeep was being driven through the crowd, multiple shots were fired by a protester,” the Aurora Police Department said in a statement. “At this time it is unknown if multiple people fired their weapons, or if it was just one individual. Also, there have been no reported injuries reported to us about anyone being hit by this vehicle.”

“During preliminary interviews with the Jeep driver, he advised officers that while on I-225, his vehicle began to be surrounded by protesters who were yelling and striking his vehicle,” police added. “He also claims that a white pickup truck struck the front of his vehicle. He claims that the reason that he drove towards the protesters is because he was scared and trying to get away.”

Photo Appears to Show Garrett Foster With Rifle Next To Surrounded Car Moments Before Austin Shooting

The photo clearly shows a few key things. Foster was armed and was holding his rifle as he approached the vehicle that night. According to the person who shot him and other witnesses, protesters surrounded and began beating on the car after making a right turn from 4th Street to Congress Ave.

Foster approached the car with the crowd and pointed his rifle at the driver.

There were rumors over the weekend that the interview below occurred some days or even weeks earlier. The photo above and the video here would seem to refute that, as Foster is wearing the same clothing and carrying the same gun. The AK-47 in the photos and the video also appear to match.

Didn’t happen, ask Jerry Nadler, (aka: Nads)

Rep. Jerry Nadler (D, Crazytown) Believes Antifa Are Mythical Creatures Like Unicorns

Nadler made this claim to Twitter user “Essential Fleccas” who respectfully asked him on video if the congressman would disavow the antifa violence that has plagued Portland, Oregon for more than 60 straight nights.

Here’s how the conversation went:

EF: There’s violence across the whole country. Do you disavow the violence by antifa that’s happening in Portland right now, the violence?
Nadler: That’s a myth that’s being spread only in Washington, DC.
EF: About antifa in Portland?
Nadler: Yes.
EF: Sir, there’s videos everywhere online. There’s fires and riots. They’re throwing fireworks at federal officers. DHS is there. Look online. That’s crazy, Mr. Nadler.

It's so funny that Nadler can believe in the myth of the Russians, but cannot believe in the truth of the riots and protests.
The man is a liar AND a fool.

Did you notice the media stopped calling AR-15s "assault rifles" and "weapons of war" once ANTIFA and BLM began openly carrying them at "protests"?

Soldier Charged With Murder After Shooting Armed BLM Protester

Perry was making extra money by driving for a ride-sharing service at the time. After dropping off a fare, he turned onto a street that was being blocked by what was ostensibly a protest. When he attempted to make his way through, people surrounded his car, beating on it. That’s when Garrett Foster approached him with an AK-variant rifle, pointed it at him, and demanded the window be rolled down. At that point, Perry feared for his life and discharged his firearm in what he felt was self-defense.

There is video that shows the scene, confirming that the car was, in fact, mobbed.

Because this is Austin, TX we are dealing with, Perry has now been charged with murder, indicted by a grand jury seated by a rabidly political district attorney.

The grand jury reviewed over 100 exhibits and interviewed 22 “witnesses.” The problem is, of course, that all the witnesses are likely heavily biased by the fact that they were attendees at the protest and sympathize with the idea that people should be able to block roads and threaten motorists. We’ve seen irrational proclamations from BLM protesters before, blaming drivers for defending themselves, even when video evidence clearly shows what truly happened. There’s little reason to believe this situation is any different.

Perry was clearly not seeking to shoot anyone. He was trying to legally drive on a road that protesters were illegally blocking. They then illegally surrounded his car and began to beat on it. At that point, he already had reason to fear for his life. Add in someone pointing a gun in your face while demanding you roll down the window, further exposing yourself to the crowd, and it’s not hard to imagine why Perry decided to discharge his weapon. That open carry is legal in Texas did not mean that Foster could point his weapon at Perry without expecting a response.
