So who else out there has one of these? Am I the only one that is disappointed with the system? SO far from what I have seen my 360 blows away my PS3. I hope they come out with some good games soon.

I had one, but my beaver ate it and then he nestled into a corner to sleep.

The 360 has not been released for two years, I had mine the first day it was released. It blew up two weeks ago, I was like 2 or 3 months over the 1 year warranty. I called Xbox and told them I was going to buy the PS3 and talked to the manager. They wound up giving me 50% off on the repair cost and shipping for free.

XBox 360 right? If so my son had his for 2 years then it blew.. Are we not talking about the same thing?

Yeah we are. They were released in November 21 2005 if my memory is correct. Thats the day I got mine. That would make mine 1 yr and 4 months. When did you get his? All units had an extended warranty put on them. Originally it was 90 days, Microsoft extended it to 1 year since they had so many problems.

He had his a little over a year before it blew. I thought it was from him and his friends not taking care of it. But after hearing of others doing the same I figured it wasn't his fault.

I could have the dates wrong. It was a present from Santa.

Yeah same here but I am pretty sure it was released late in 05. I knew a guy that got one with me, he was in line right behind me, waiting and waiting. That night after we got our systems I played mine nonstop for 3 days, I took a week off work for thanksgiving. He got home that night and his would not work out of the box. It took about 2-3 weeks for microsoft to repair his unit
