I have to start seeing a psychologist. My choices are Sheila Collicott, Molly Jones, Carol Marcy, or Jennifer Willoughby (Navy list). Any suggestions or maybe someone good you know that I could check and see if they take Tricare? Last time I went to a Navy issue psychologist he slept through two of my four visits and I stopped going. Any help is highly accepted. Thank you.

In the circuit of things, Sheila Collicot and Carol Marcy have excellent reputations. :yay: :yay: I'd say those two would be your best choice to look up, depending on your theraputic need. There is also a gal in Prince Frederick - Yvonne Micelli (sp?) and yet two others, one in Solomons and one in L-town, all who have excellent reps.

But, that is about it. IMO. Unless you drive to Annapolis, etc...

I would take Virgovictorias advice that huzzy used to be really crazy and she is pretty with it now..I think there are several peeps on there that do alot of counseling both through pms and in the open..I wish you luck with whomever you choose..

Sheila & Carol are wonderful people as well as excellent Psychologists and the Joy Lane Healing center is a great location.
Sorry about your experience, Navy shrinks are crap, did you put in a complaint?

I think you should interview them and see which counselling style works best for you. Would you be more comfortable in a very clinical environment or something more homey? The only one on the list that I know is Carol and she is very down to earth and homey. In fact, her pups may be attending your session.

So adorable! :yay: The older one played "catch" with my son for 10 minutes once, so cute to watch my son threw the stick to her, she actually tossed it back to him :lmao: It was funny to see a dog throw a stick.

Should YOU ever seek referrences, I do know the names of a few folks I'd like to have *treat* you. Or better yet, a few folks that would like to treat you...:bubble:

It's apparent that you know all the good ones and for obvious reasons. I think I'll just stay crazy :huggy:

I also liked carol marcy when I went to her. Her dog does attend the therapy session (the dog is a therapy dog) that is what she told me when I started going.
