Public Service Announcement - Donations

Help "Invisible Dogs"
Just a friendly reminder that if you are looking for a good cause to make a tax deductible donation for income tax purposes, please look at your local rescues. Most of us are 501(c)3, non-profit organizations. Some are already added in the Combined Federal Campaign, some of us were established too late for this year.

If you are concerned that your cash donations might be mis-spent, consider making a donation to the vet the group uses to apply to their bill. Or make donations of Frontline Flea & Tick (large size as most of us measure for all sizes of dogs, much more economical). (My group buys our monthly heartworm medicine from the Well Pet Clinic, they'd gladly put the cash on my account....).

Donations of food, treats (both hard and soft), and treats to chew on...

But please remember that most of us give our foster animals the same things we give our own dogs, so if it's something you won't give to your dog, we probably won't either.

Also, don't forget the rescues that do rabbits, guinea pigs, snakes, etc... as well as the cat and dog rescues that work everyday to make a difference.

~~~End of Public Service Announcement~~~
There are other threads that have nice long lists of the rescue groups.
(btw, if you PM me I can give you my group's information...:whistle:)
