Purdue University’s Varsity Glee Club in Concert

The highly acclaimed Purdue Varsity Glee Club will present a local 90-minute concert during its Spring Break Washington, D.C. Tour. This dynamic musical troupe (60-men strong) employs a versatile repertoire including gospel, vocal jazz, swing, contemporary hits, romantic ballads, classical choral selections, barbershop, folk melodies, patriotic standards, familiar opera choruses, country and novelty tunes, and utilizes small groups and outstanding soloists to further enhance each show.
The concert will culminate in a rousing rendition of “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” as area high school choirs and the Chesapeake Choral Arts Society join the PVGC for a performance incorporating more than 120 voices!
