Push mower rear skirt

The original rubbery type skirt on my Craftsman mower came off and got chewed up as I backed over it.
I have been using it for 5 years without a skirt. My luck finally ran out when a stick flew out and hit my ankle.
I ordered one from Sears Parts. They sent me a hard plastic Husqvarna skirt.
I am confused about which way to install it. Embossed on one side it says "GRASS SIDE".

Just sneakin' around....
I have an old Craftsman with one of those skirts. I'll take a pic tomorrow. Think I still have the owner's manual with parts description, might show it there too.

looks like the grass side label goes downward, facing the ground when installed, with the notches facing forward, towards the mower.

 Mine wasn't in much better shape, pretty beat up, with no annotations. No help there.

The picture in the parts diagram isn't great, but seems to show the bottom of the wiper not being symmetrical. The larger portion of the wiper bottom points towards the rear, towards the operator.

Thanks for checking. My cylindrical bottom is centered under the vertical part. This skirt is longer than the original. It tilts out at about 45° from vertical. This creates an underside, so I am calling that the grass side.
