Biker's Death Investigated

Law enforcement officials have not released information on what caused the fatal motorcycle accident that killed a Waldorf man when he hit the back of an off-duty state trooper’s vehicle May 31.

Just as I thought would happen, the news story is making it sound as if it was the bikers fault, no mention of possible culpibility for the officer! It sounds to me like the officer made a left IN FRONT of the biker... period!

It just seems like there is a double standard when it comes to us regular citizens. If I had made a left in front of a biker causing his death I guaran-damn-tee you that the news stories would be proclaiming that boldly.

Actually the article was surprisingly unbiased and factual. What you miss are the assumptions and conclusions you all came to in the forum discussion.

The fact the guy is being investigated by the state should give you some comfort (that is, unless you cannot trust the all-Democrat administration the voters installed in November 2006 to give an impartial determination)
