QUALITY Great Dane Breeders?

I KNOW, I see the GD rescue at Petsmart all the time ..... I am sorry to offend some rescue people, BUT not everyone is willing to get a Great Dane from rescue resources due to lack of pedigree health information or behavior issues (not cat friendly/etc). I try to promote the well-being of ALL critters.

I have a person who is looking to buy a Great Dane puppy that has certified heath. I know this may possibly turn into a discussion, but NOT everyone is willing to adopt a dog with unknown history - I am into rescue big time, but I do understand the position of some to want a verified pedigree behind their next pet due to known breed issues or possible behavior issues of an adult (wanting a puppy).

PM me if you know someone locally with GD pups available that are of good health/breeding/etc.

Please tell your friend not to worry about what others think. Rescuing a amimal is not for everyone. Those who think less of someone because they opted to go through a breeder need IMHO to keep their personal feelings to themselves. There are many reasons someone doesn't want to or can't and should not be made to feel guilty.

Check the National and Local GD clubs, they should be able to help you and your friend find a nice addition.
