“The God of the Bible and later Jewish and Christian literature is distinctively masculine, definitely male. Or is He?” the course description reads. “If we can point out places in traditional writings where God is nurturing, forgiving, and loving, does that mean that God is feminine, or female?”

Key themes of that particular class include exploring the “tensions between feminist and queer theology” and examines “feminist and queer writings about God.”

Swarthmore College did not return my calls seeking comment. Nor did they respond to a question about whether they had read the Book of Revelation, Chapter 22, Verse 19.

I also inquired about whether the religion department will be offering courses on “Queering Mohammed” or “Queering the Koran.”

Keep your kids at home in a Community College so at least you have some chance of saving them from the liberal colleges that bend even the Bible.
Sure your kid wants to go to an Ivy league college and mix with the free sex and beer crowd, but why spend in the tens of thousands to have their minds destroyed in a snowflake ,liberal brainwashing that takes 30 years to wear off.

So it seems to me that they are making gender based assumptions there, that only the female or feminine can demonstrate nurturing, forgiving, or loving attributes. Cant have it both ways, folks.

Critics say much of these accounts are speculation, but California rejected any publisher that didn’t mention the homosexual preferences or claims against historical figures in their textbooks. In one textbook, the state forced the publisher to add “lesbian” to describe NASA astronaut Sally Ride.

Most of them don't even believe in God. Why are they "studying" His sexuality?

I mean, really, I think assigning a gender to God is a bit silly. Any being of that power could be and most likely is whatever it wants to be, in most cases something unimaginable to the human mind.

Assigning a gender is one thing; assigning a sexuality is something else entirely. Like God has a boyfriend or girlfriend or something.

People are paying good money to have their sons and daughters sit in a classroom and "learn" chit like this.
