On the ballot ....does anyone know any further details on this constitutional amendment? Does this mean that anyone age 21 can get cannabis? Does it mean people would no longer have to get a medical cannabis card to buy cannabis? I can't believe the gov't would let that cash cow get taken away.

Why is everthing involving these types of things like this & gambling made into a constitutional questions. They can just pass a law and be done with it. I know they want to put it on the public for fear of problems. Then its, but you voted for it.

Not certain, but putting it into the Constitution makes it a little more difficult to reverse.

For your consideration ...

It just means that the people of Maryland will now have a Maryland Constitutional right to possess and use cannabis, and, if they wanted to, grow and distribute it, as long and the big guy get his 10%. Reminds me of the movie The Gentlemen where American expat Mickey Pearson (Matthew McConaughey) said of what was coming once it all becomes kosher. It's movies such as this that prepare the masses for the changes TPTB want.

That Maryland Constitutional right to have cannabis in your system ends when you cross over onto federal property, such as Pax River NAS. In fact, all people supporting NAS Pax, including those working from home, are subject to drug tests at any time. Failure to take the test and/or a test detecting any illegal drugs (cannabis is still illegal by federal law) and grounds for revocation of your security clearance followed by immediate termination.

I voted early and against this ammendment. There are enough altered drivers around here. We don't need to add stoners too.
I hate to break the news, but there are already plenty of stoned drivers on the roads. Mere legality won't add appreciably to those numbers.

I plan on voting against it, too, FWIW as I don't need my government's permission to huff the devil's lettuce is that is my desire.

I would hope that anyone who works at Pax would be intelligent enough to know what you have posted without having to read it here. But then again they probably are not!

Bus drivers, Truck drivers, Police, Firefighters , A test for Marijuana will place a lot of people in the deep doo-doo. Rightfully so IMO.
But Hey: It's going to pass. They aren't building a Marijuana Growing facility in St. Mary's for nothing.

The people at Pax are smart enough. The majority of the people voting for this amendment either are not or don't care. Either way, it's not my problem.

Yup. You are absolutely correct. I never said there weren't any consequences to its use of, or possession though.

When it passes, and you know it will, I wonder who is going to be the first test case under Federal law, and under what pretext?

I hate to break the news Phucktard, but even though we have plenty of stoned drivers on the roads, we don't need additional stoned drivers on the roads.

Even though you're so intellectually flawed that you've been rendered dysfunctional, even a halfwit like you should know driving while impaired will never be legal. FWIW your government tells you who you can vote for and gives you permission for when you can wipe your ass.

Now like my post you fagboi

The reason they want to allow this is so the black folk don’t get arrested anymore. It’s a “racist” law per democrat leaders. Decriminalization if you will.

That’s all there is to it.

That growing facility isn’t going to be selling weed on the street. Medical Mary Jane sold to dispensary’s.
