Question about end times...

I watched 60 Minutes last night. One of the stories they reported was about China [Magog?]. We already know about tensions with Russia [Gog].

According to the report, Xi told his military leaders to prepare for invasion of Taiwan in 2027 if the territory does not surrender before then.

They will take it by force in 2027.

Anyone who follows my posts knows I am one of those "end of days" type. I believe I have seen so many signs. I think we are in the last Seven Years.

COVID, a pandemic, reared its ugly head in 2020.

The most contentious presidential election I have witnessed in my 73 years took place in 2020.

Now Xi Jinping is taunting World War III in 2027.

Add to that all the volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, meteor storms, and sunspots and it makes me wonder...

How come the Spanish Flu or the Bubonic plague wasnt the end time? The holocaust? World war I or II?

Every day we all get a little closer to our personal expiration date.

Who knows when the whole shebang will vaporize. But I bet for a few seconds it will be quite a spectacular sight to behold.

I am 80 and I worry more about the Big C or a heart attack than I do the end times.
But really why worry about something you can do nothing about?

Any National leader who announces a date he intends to start a war is a fool.
I don't doubt he will not try to take Taiwan, although I cant see much sense in it.
Taking Taiwan would only be to pursue a Chinese policy of "Face".
Taiwan isn't harming China in any way and a lot of people could and would die in getting it done.
It's really quite stupid, Nothing to gain and a lot to lose. Taiwan industry would be lost in the war and perhaps so would China's.
Is "face" that important?

The end times ? Who knows, but like the climate, we cannot change it, so why worry?
Everyone faces an end times and no one knows when it will come for them.

I’m in the ‘end times watch’ camp. I think a lot of events and happenings are coming along that point to Jesus’ soon return. Christians are told to watch and be aware. We may not know the day or hour, but we should know we are getting close.

End times? For whom? For what? Even with every 12000 year cataclysmic cycle, humans have survived. And there have been many cataclysmic cycles in earth's history that wipe out nearly every living thing .... nearly.

Maybe you are referring to when the sun goes super nova? That would be the end of the earth, and truly an end of time.

All this dread.

Pretty sure the end times was written metaphorically.

I’m in the ‘end times watch’ camp. I think a lot of events and happenings are coming along that point to Jesus’ soon return. Christians are told to watch and be aware. We may not know the day or hour, but we should know we are getting close.

Who am I to tell Jesus what to do, but if I were Him, I would have been back kicking ass a long time ago.
