question about hay?

Does anyone know if stauffers sells bales year round? Can't remember if they do. Just need a few bales a week and don't wanna have to ride to tractor supply if I don't have to. I live in calvert. If I do bulk what would one horse need for winter? Starting to get low on summer hay

yes they do sell it all year round I also live in calvert and I get it from them for my goats.

1-2% of the horses body weight is the general rule. Depends on if your horse is an easy keeper and how cold out it is too. Estimate about 1/2 a bale per day.

Ok thanks! She is an easy keeper and I'm putting her on triple crown complete to help keep the weight on. That and some good hay should do it.
