Question about my 3 year old?

Ok, so the pass 2 months he hasnt been listening to mommy very well... I put him in his room with no toys or TV... That worked one day.... The other day I told him I was going to spank his lil butt.... He laugh at me...
I then told him mommy was giving him a spanking so I did... What does he do... Laugh again.... I just dont know what to do with him now... Time out doesnt work... Anyone have any thoughts???? Im going crazy..

Oh, and is my son the youngest to slam his door and say " I hate you" I was SHOCK and couldnt believe what I just heard!!! I just turn and said well Mommy LOVES you.... and walked away... I was really hurt by that.. Im not a mean mom... Why would he say that?? He hasnt said it since...

Don't spank your kid. Pay more attention to him. He is looking for attention. Read him a book, play with him. You only get one shot at this life, make it good for you and him.

I AGREE!!! I have a 2 year old and the more mommy time he gets the less he acts out. That's all they want is some attention!!!

Join the club mom. My son is 5 and nothing works with him either. However, reverse psychology works with mine. I talk to him after he has cooled down with his tamper tantrum. I give mine the silent treatment, except to tell him it's time for lunch/dinner. He can't stand it his attitude changes.
