Question for Stinky Dogs

It's been one hell of a day, after getting woken up with Bandit having another seizure I let them outside and what do they decide to tangle with? A skunk. Yep, so now both of my puppers reek. Have any of you found a good remedy. Of course I know of the standby of tomato juice, but has anyone found a better solution. TYIA.

Douche.

Was at a friends farm this summer and they were relating the story of how one of their dogs got into a skunk and they sent one of the farmhands to the store to get a few boxes of disposable douche. When he got to the counter he asked the sales clerk if this would get rid of a skunky smell, Before she could answer half the store was laughing.

This might help, i heard using a dryer sheet will help with the doggy smell. I just don't know if it will work on them right now....maybe after the bath....it will help cut down on the smell even more......can't hurt to try right...

Thanks!! Looks like I'll be running to the store, unfortunately there is nothing that I can do until after work. I appreciate the sites Cat and story Aps. And I'll try the dryer sheet, anything is better then smelling that smell, I have it on me so I can not wait to get home and get all of us smelling perdy again.
