QUestion for those who work at the navy base

Is there a motel or hotel on base by any chance? My parents were talking about coming up here and asked about staying at Patuxant NAS? Just wondering Thanks Oh my Dad is retired military thats why I'm asking

There is a Navy Lodge on base and there is a Hampton Inn right outside of the base. There is also the Solomon's Navy Annex they might be interested in staying there too.

The Pax Navy Lodge kicks butt!! Back when the Former Mrs. Crash was still active duty, I had an opportunity to stay in the Pax Navy Lodge. The room was such that I could have spent the rest of my working life living there if necessary.

I'll second that. Our friends came to visit this past summer, and were rather comfortable there. 301-737-2400

For Solomons, unless your parents are interested in tenting or primitive sites, most everything is already reserved for the rest of the summer.

You may want to check the CBQ. They have pretty good accomodations for half the price of Navy Lodge, have a kitchennete and separate living area plus free continental breakfast and newspaper in the morning. Your father may have to do the calling him being the retired military.
