I got 0 today because the "pool" was calling to me. We didn't go look at the bike. I'm gonna call the guy tomorrow and if I like it, have the man drive it home and then I'll practice with it in the neighborhood before I see the 250 to 1bdz's boy. I had a panic attack about buying it, but I'm over that now.

I know. I worry about falling over on it, the weight thing. So I figure if we like it, he can ride it home and I can ride it around here until I get used to it. Baby steps.

Went to the SCRC state rally Saturday on the eastern shore (about 280 miles there anround and back ), won the "slow ride" at the rodeo.
Made the mistake of mentioning how you folks thought I looked like the tin man from the wizard of oz in my silver jacket and helmet and during the award presentations after dinner, I got officially christined with Tin Man for my biker nickname

I did over 500 miles last week, and I have no idea how.. I did the commute thing, took my daughter for a ride..etc.. but I swear I was filling up with gas everyday,and kept checking my trip meter with bewilderment.... Must of felt good if I don't "feel" like I did that many miles..
