Questions for getting another dog

Hey! My current dog is a mix and I would love to adopt another dog but am worried that she will not like it.
We had another dog over one day for a visit (for possible pet sitting). They were fine all day until a peice of food was dropped. They both when at it and got pushed apart before any major damage could be done. So the pet sitting for the family members dog didn't happen.
My dog is not crate trained and does fine in the house alone most of the time.:whistle:

How do you test to see if the dogs would get along?
I have never had more than one dog when i was growing up so I'm not sure how to go about any of the 2 dogs getting along stuff.

What kind of mix is you current dog?

Some breeds are just incline to be pushy.

I got a chi-JR mix last year and never thought anything of it cause my bird dog is so laid back.
Introductions went fine because the bird dog was here first.
The JR mix is cranky and snippy, she has to be reminded to be nice. She likes to taunt with food. Sometimes it's funny other times not.

Had it been the JR mix was here first and then the bird dog introduced, I don't think things would be the same. I think they would be worse.

Seriously, watch Ceaser Milan. My Two dogs started fighting with each other, and his tricks fixed the situation and I was able to adopt another dog. They are all very happy and respectful now :yay:

She looks like she could be a Korean Jindo. Or possible little lab, little chow, with german Shepard looking ears. A real mix that looks like nothing I have seen. No one knows. paso has cleaned her but I'm not sure if she even knows. :lmao:
