Quick Meds question!

Hey, My normal med was changed from one generic to another type of fancier generic. Should I expect any new side effects? When I first took these they made me a bit drowsy .

Depends on what medication. I know with thryoid meds, the dosage has to be adjusted because each "brand" is different.

I didn't realize Gas-X came in a fancier generic brand either. I do know you can purchase the generic simethicone, but that's as fancy as I found.

I agree to. My husband takes Requip for restless leg syndrome. And we've notice that when his prescription was filled with a generic brand, it was not as effective as the name brand. It sucked too..........I slept on the couch ALOT that month!!

I also take requip and they did the same thing to me this time generic, it does not work as well, now my legs bother me during the day too and they did that before..

Just HOW many MDs are here in SOMD?....ZERO.....

Call the pharmacy that dispensed the medicine and talk to the Pharmacist...

I did make sure I was asking for real world side effects. I used it yesterday and it was less effective than my previous meds. I did not note any drowsiness at all. They quit making the meds I used to take, so this is actually my only option.
