Quiet Clippers?

Ive actually decided on the Wahl Chromado clippers. Everyone Ive talked to has suggested them as being super-quiet.

Do you need body clippers or are you just trimming the whiskers? We used to use plain ol' razors you get at the store to trim the muzzle and scissors to trim ears. Cheap and quiet
