Quran 17:61 When We said to the angels, “Bow down before Adam,” they bowed down, except for Satan. He said, “Shall I bow down before someone You created from mud?”
62. He said, “Do You see this one whom You have honored more than me? If You reprieve me until the Day of Resurrection, I will bring his descendants under my sway, except for a few.”
63. He said, “Begone! Whoever of them follows you—Hell is your reward, an ample reward.”
64. “And entice whomever of them you can with your voice, and rally against them your cavalry and your infantry, and share with them in wealth and children, and make promises to them.” But Satan promises them nothing but delusion.
65. “As for My devotees, you have no authority over them.” Your Lord is an adequate Guardian.
66. Your Lord is He who propels for you the ships at sea, that you may seek of His bounty. He is towards you Most Merciful.
67. When harm afflicts you at sea, those you pray to vanish, except for Him. But when He saves you to land, you turn away. The human being is ever thankless.
68. Are you confident that He will not cause a track of land to cave in beneath you, or unleash a tornado against you, and then you find no protector?
69. Or are you confident that He will not return you to it once again, and unleash a hurricane against you, and drown you for your ingratitude? Then you will find no helper against Us.
70. We have honored the Children of Adam, and carried them on land and sea, and provided them with good things, and greatly favored them over many of those We created.
This is the commentary..... I think we'll need it.The devil is here compared with a coward who comes with great show but little real force, and who, if shown the least resistance, retreats at every step. According to I‘Ab, every inviter who invites (others) to the disobedience of Allåh is a satan uttering the cry.
The forces of the devil are no other than the evildoers, those going quickly into evil being likened to horsemen and those who walk slowly in their evil course being likened to infantry. According to JB, by the devil’s horse and foot are meant fast riders and slow walkers in disobedience.
The sharing of the devil in wealth signifies everything spent unlawfully or acquired unlawfully; and sharing in children is in reference to committing fornication, which results in illegitimate births.
My servants may include all men. The devil will say to the sinners: I had no authority over you.
A true picture is drawn here of human nature, which turns to Allåh in affliction but forgets Him in ease.
Ïå©ib primarily means a thrower or pelter of stones and r߃-un ƒå©ib-un signifies a violent wind that raises pebbles. The word is also applied to a cloud raining hail. It was by a violent wind that the combined forces of all the enemies of Islåm were brought low in the battle of the Allies, when, besieging Madßnah in the year 5 A.H., they had to flee in disorder.
Distress is here likened to the sea.
The way I read this.... Satan is all bluster and no bite. Satan is all talk and no action. Satan is a useless son-in-law.Lately I've read some comments on Social Media that fall right into this section. It's the chant "prayers and good wishes don't stop the gun violence". I read those words a lot after a school shooting. People ask for prayer for the families of the murdered babies.... and someone else puts up a praying hand emoji and they get on with their lives.... talking about how rude it is to ask for prayers "when what we really need is gun control" and as they say it... they are forgetting all about it... getting back to their part of the ant farm that is their daily life.
The followers of Satan... they are the hardheaded ignorant humans with not a drop of sense. They are all willing to throw up and emoji of praying hands. They are all willing to sit in the pew next to any well intended human.... and they'll even hold the hymnal and mouth the words to the song.... but they really are only doing it for show... they don't really care.... and they love to blame God for their woes.
I'm pretty sure when Satan sees one of his followers doing their due diligence by being seen in church..... so the church people will do business with them..... and he sees his followers pick up a Hymnal.... he drowns out the words of whatever they are singing... with his own little ditty.... "the devil went down to Georgia.... he was looking for a soul to steal". One thing Satan sure seems to have run with.... is ego. Satan wants us all to know his poop doesn't stink. When someone complains about stink... Satan blames it on God.
Satan can't save you from a storm. He can't shelter you..... all the shelters belong to God. Satan can't keep his poop from stinking.... he can only give you COVID so you don't smell the stink.
So what's the emoji for the day?
Praying hands or piles of poop....
