Quran 19:83. Have you not considered how We dispatch the devils against the disbelievers, exciting them with incitement?
84. So do not hurry against them. We are counting for them a countdown.
85. On the Day when We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful, as guests.
86. And herd the sinners into hell, like animals to water.
87. They will have no power of intercession, except for someone who has an agreement with the Most Merciful.
88. And they say, “The Most Merciful has begotten a son.”
89. You have come up with something monstrous.
90. At which the heavens almost rupture, and the earth splits, and the mountains fall and crumble.
91. Because they attribute a son to the Most Merciful.
92. It is not fitting for the Most Merciful to have a son.
93. There is none in the heavens and the earth but will come to the Most Merciful as a servant.
94. He has enumerated them, and counted them one by one.
95. And each one of them will come to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone.
96. Those who believe and do righteous deeds, the Most Merciful will give them love.
97. We made it easy in your tongue, in order to deliver good news to the righteous, and to warn with it a hostile people.
98. How many a generation have We destroyed before them? Can you feel a single one of them, or hear from them the slightest whisper?

Wird signifies coming to or arriving at water; hence it signifies thirsty, because thirsty beasts are driven to water.
The five verses 89– 93 contain a most emphatic and clear condemnation of the Christian doctrine of the Godhead of Jesus Christ. It may be noted that this chapter belongs to about the fifth year of the Holy Prophet’s mission, as portions of it were read out before the Negus by Ja‘far, who was the head of the Muslim immigrants to Abyssinia. Thus Islåm had set before itself from the very first the grand object of the reformation of Christianity. The particular point on which stress is laid in this chapter, as against the fundamental errors of the Christian religion, Sonship and Atonement, is that God is Ra√mån (Beneficent), and does not require any compensation to forgive sinners. It is for this reason that the name Ra√mån, in preference to all other names of the Divine Being, is mentioned over and over again in this chapter, and the key to the whole position is contained in v. 92 in the words: It is not worthy of the Beneficent that He should take to Himself a son. In fact, the doctrine of Atonement is contradicted by Christ’s own words in the Lord’s prayer: “And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors” (Matt. 6:12). A man is said to forgive his debtor when he remits the debt and does not exact any compensation. Even thus does God forgive the sinners; He needs no compensation.
Allåh’s bringing about love for the righteous means that He loves them Himself and inspires love for them in the hearts of other people, while they also love Allåh as well as their fellow-beings. The righteous servants of God are opposed at first, but gradually their goodness prevails and they are loved and admired. There is a prophetic reference here to the great love with which the hearts of the enemies of the Prophet were to be inspired in the near future, and even today the hearts of men are being inspired with greater and greater love for him as the world witnesses the good which he did to humanity.
I am not going to bash the Muslim traditions. I am not going to do it. I figure someone just warped the Gospel so bad.... they felt they simply could not back Jesus as the Son of God. After all, as far as they know.... He was just a bastard baby born in Bethlehem and carried to Egypt until it was safe to bring him back to Nazareth and introduce Him as her "virgin" born Son. The shepherds in the fields know. The three kings who came searching for him know. The family.... well they are not convinced.... but they are too bound to earthly thinking.... humans put God in a Box. God created humans. God can alter humans any way He so desires..... need a wart? God can give you a wart. Need lungs that will allow you to dive deep for beautiful pearls, God can give you better lungs. Need a Savior to save you ignorant human butts from others.... God has your back. Need a cure for death.... God has your back. God can change a human womb to accommodate His Son. He created everything else.... even dust.... so why can't He use what He created?
Jesus was the only Son of God who was advertised to have been sent to earth by God to do a job. I don't know if God has other sons. I haven't been there yet so I don't know who might be waiting there for me. I'm sure Jesus will be there.... sitting on God's right hand.... but maybe there will be fifty "sons" sitting on God's right side.... and Jesus is there with a banner showing He has been to earth and survived the treatment of those nasty humans who just simply would not let God out of the Box they have put Him in.
Mary didn't have to be a goddess to deliver the Son of God. God wanted her to bare His Son so His Son could experience what it's like to be a tempted human. God wanted her to bare His Son so His Son could be the Counsel for Defense. Jesus can explain how being an ignorant human can be conquered. Jesus made it through a human life without committing a sin. If Jesus had been born to a goddess.... he would not have understood. Jesus had to give up His posh home in Heaven to come to earth to play the part of a bastard son, to be hung naked on a Cross and then walk out of the borrowed Tomb without calling down the angels to destroy the human race. Now that speaks volumes to me.
