Quran 27:60. Or, who created the heavens and the earth, and rains down water from the sky for you? With it We produce gardens full of beauty, whose trees you could not have produced. Is there another god with God? But they are a people who equate.
61. Or, who made the earth habitable, and made rivers flow through it, and set mountains on it, and placed a partition between the two seas? Is there another god with God? But most of them do not know.
62. Or, who answers the one in need when he prays to Him, and relieves adversity, and makes you successors on earth? Is there another god with God? How hardly you pay attention.
63. Or, who guides you through the darkness of land and sea, and who sends the winds as heralds of His mercy? Is there another god with God? Most exalted is God, above what they associate.
64. Or, who originates the creation and then repeats it, and who gives you livelihood from the sky and the earth? Is there another god with God? Say, “Produce your evidence, if you are truthful.”
65. Say, “No one in the heavens or on earth knows the future except God; and they do not perceive when they will be resurrected.”
66. In fact, their knowledge of the Hereafter is confused. In fact, they are in doubt about it. In fact, they are blind to it
And here's the commentary.
The manifestation of the marvellous power of God in nature, the creation of the heavens and the earth, the sending down of rain, the making of rivers and mountains — all these wonderful signs of the existence of the Great Creator are here followed by another equally wonderful sign of the existence of God, the manifestation of His marvellous power in man. But mark the contrast. This manifestation of the existence of God is not to be sought in the greatness and power of man as the conqueror of the forces of nature, but in his weakness in his great distress when, unable to find help from any source, he throws himself on the Divine threshold and seeks help from God. We are thus told that the manifestation of God’s great power in the mighty forces of nature is as clear an indication of the existence of God as the manifestation of His power in a weak mortal who finds himself in extreme distress. But what is more, this manifestation of God’s power is beautifully mingled with prophecy — and He will make you successors in the earth. The distressed ones here are no other than the Muslims, who were being cruelly persecuted and tortured, and they are told that the manifestation of God’s power in making them rulers of the earth would be as great as it was in His creation of the heavens and the earth. This also shows the purpose underlying the narration of the histories of David and Solomon.
Human knowledge cannot reach the life after death and God has vouchsafed this knowledge to man through His revelation. But men are in doubt about it; in fact, they shut their eyes to it.
I was talking to a neighbor at the mail boxes the other day. She didn't know about the underground volcano.... or the quakes that have been happening. She was only lamenting how hateful people are these days. According to my neighbor, it seems to be a side affect of COVID.... or the shot.... but people are just meaner now. She says she thinks we have come into the End Times. I couldn't agree more.....HOWEVER.... I think we've been in the End Times for some time. Someone stole our peace a few years ago. We are more worried, more afraid, more willing to fight, more like wounded animals than humans who are described here as the top of the food chain!
In these verses.... Humans are regarded as the top of the food chain. We were put at the top when God gave us superior brains that think rather than act on instinct.
In these verses.... God is the One True Living God.
