Quran 35:38-45 Iniquitous

Quran 35:38. God is the Knower of the future of the heavens and the earth. He knows what the hearts contain.
39. It is He who made you successors on earth. Whoever disbelieves, his disbelief will recoil upon him. The disbelief of the disbelievers adds only to their Lord's disfavor of them. The disbelief of the disbelievers adds only to their perdition.
40. Say, “Have you considered those partners of yours that you worship instead of God? Show me what they have created on earth. Or do they have any share in the heavens?” Or have We given them a book whose clear teachings they follow? In fact, the wrongdoers promise one another nothing but delusions.
41. God holds the heavens and the earth, lest they fall apart. And were they to fall apart, there is none to hold them together except He. He is Most Clement, Most Forgiving.
42. And they swore by God with their solemn oaths, that if a warner came to them, they would be more guided than any other people. Yet when a warner came to them, it only increased them in aversion.
43. Priding themselves on earth, and scheming evil. But evil scheming overwhelms none but its authors. Do they expect anything but the precedent of the ancients? You will not find any change in God’s practice, and you will not find any substitute to God’s practice.
44. Have they not journeyed in the land and observed the fate of those who preceded them? They were superior to them in strength. But nothing can defeat God in the heavens or on Earth. He is indeed Omniscient and Omnipotent.
45. If God were to punish the people for what they have earned, He would not leave a single living creature on its surface. But He defers them until a stated time. Then, when their time has arrived—God is Observant of His creatures.
Here's the commentary.

There were Jews and Christians in Arabia who were as corrupt as the idolaters of Arabia. The Arabs, therefore, said that, if a prophet came to them as prophets came to other people, they would follow him, and set an example of goodness.
Similar words occur in 16:61: “And if Allåh were to destroy men for their iniquity, He would not leave therein a single creature”. Evidently by dåbbah or creature here are meant people bent low on earth, people ignorant of the higher or spiritual values of life, or the iniquitous.
No matter what I do.... No matter how hard I try.... I am still an ignorant human with so much to learn. I am still an ignorant human who seethes with hate sometimes. I am still an ignorant human who sees the church as a place that started off magnificent.... and then fell into ignorance and iniquitous values.

Iniquitous means grossly unfair and morally wrong.

Oh... I've been to a lot of churches. They all take on their own particular character. Most of the time, in the Protestant Church, if you meet the Head Elder... you can see the church. If the Elder wants to expand the church.... by putting in a loud speaker that will broadcast the morning worship service all across the valley whether the others in the valley want to hear it or not.... then the church will do that. If the Elder wants to put on a craft show to pay for it.... well get you crafts together because there will be a craft show.

Problem is.... if the Head Elder is a rich no good devious son of a whore with a great house and fine car and control of the whole nation.... then the church will take on that character.

If the Head Elder packs a gun in church..... the church will be well armed.

Problem is.... if the preacher is sleeping with the wife of one of the men in the church.... the Head Elder will wait until the preacher has enjoyed the romp and then throw the woman out of the church.... iniquitously.

A church without God is not a church.

It's "iniquitous"
