Quran 37:158. And they invented a relationship between Him and the jinn. But the jinn know that they will be arraigned.
159. God be glorified, far above what they allege.
160. Except for God’s sincere servants.
161. Surely, you and what you serve.
162. Cannot seduce away from Him.
163. Except for he who will be roasting in Hell.
164. “There is not one of us but has an assigned position.
165. And we are the arrangers.
166. And we are the glorifiers.”
167. Even though they used to say.
168. “Had we received advice from the ancients.
169. We would have been God's faithful servants.”
170. But they rejected it, so they will find out.
171. Our Word has already gone out to our servant messengers.
172. It is they who will be supported.
173. And Our troops will be the victors.
174. So disregard them for a while.
175. And watch them—they will soon see.
176. Are they seeking to hasten Our punishment?
177. When it descends into their yard, miserable will be the morning of those forewarned.
178. So avoid them for a while.
179. And watch—they will soon see.
180. Exalted be your Lord, the Lord of Glory, beyond their allegations.
181. And peace be upon the messengers.
182. And praise be to God, the Lord of the Worlds.
A lot of verses this morning but not a lot of commentary.They said that they considered the angels to be daughters of God and worshipped them. In the Qur’ån, however, it is stated that it was really the jinn — their own leaders in evil — that they worshipped, not the angels: “then will He say to the angels: Did these worship you? They will say: ... nay, they worshipped the jinn”.
It is the evildoers that will be brought up for judgment, not the servants of Allåh.
These words are put into the mouth of the believers.
That is, the time of victory
I doubt seriously all those people who have huge collections of angels sitting around collecting dust..... are worshipping angels.... but then again...
I wondered about daughters. I never figured God having daughters. God doesn't need daughters to make a great nation pop up.... like humans would. God can just create a nation out of thin air should He decide to do so.
I took this as a type of respect for women.... on behalf of the Muslim faith. But it's just another mistaken idea. Women are not angels. Does the Bible say women are important enough to be God's daughters? It's quite the opposite in the Bible. Most women were just there for childbearing in the Bible. The Quran shows that humans worship angels.... as if they were the daughters of God.
Got a bunch of angels sitting around gathering dust?
Do you worship them or do you just think they are cute enough to pick up and dust off regularly?
If people worship those angels.... does that make those angels idols?
They are just dust collectors.
Angels are not God's daughters!
