Quran 39:In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
1. The revelation of the Book is from God, the Mighty and Wise.
2. We sent down to you the Book with the truth, so serve God, devoting your religion to Him.
3. Is not to God that sincere faith is due? As for those who take guardians besides Him, “We only worship them that they may bring us nearer to God.” God will judge between them regarding their differences. God does not guide the lying blasphemer.
4. If God wanted to have a son, He could have selected from His creation at will. Glory be to Him. He is God, the One, the Prevailing.
5. He created the heavens and the earth with reason. He wraps the night around the day, and He wraps the day around the night. And He regulates the sun and the moon, each running along a specific course. He is indeed the Almighty, the Forgiver.
6. He created you from one person, then made from it its mate, and brought down livestock for you—eight kinds in pairs. He creates you in the wombs of your mothers, in successive formations, in a triple darkness. Such is God, your Lord. His is the kingdom. There is no god but He. So what made you deviate?
7. If you disbelieve, God is Independent of you, yet He does not approve ingratitude on the part of His servants. And if you are thankful, He will approve that in you. No bearer of burden can bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return; and He will inform you of what you used to do. He is aware of what the hearts contain.
8. When some adversity touches the human being, he prays to his Lord, repenting to Him. But then, when He confers on him a grace of His, he forgets what he was praying for before, and he attributes rivals to God, in order to lead astray from His way. Say, “Enjoy your disbelief for a little while; you will be among the inmates of the Fire.”
9. Is he who worships devoutly during the watches of the night, prostrating himself and standing up, mindful of the Hereafter, and placing his hope in the mercy of his Lord? Say, “Are those who know and those who do not know equal?” Only those possessed of reason will remember.

I really need some commentary.

All worshippers of false deities pretend that such deities are worshipped only to get nearer to God, as if God Himself were unapproachable. The idol-worshippers say that the idols are only symbols for concentration on God, while the Christians, plainly spoken of in the next verse, hold that without the Son they can have no access to God. But undue reverence of created things is a step leading to degradation of human nature. Hence it is that Islåm requires sincere obedience to, or worship of, God alone.
We find the Christian doctrine referred to and refuted in very early Makkan revelations, such as the 19th chapter, which was recited by the Muslim refugees in Abyssinia before the Negus, in or about the fifth year of the Prophet’s mission. The Qur’ån refers to the error of attributing a son to the Divine Being almost as frequently as to the setting up of idols. It is pointed out here that no one holds a relation of sonship to Allåh, but that it is His chosen servants that are metaphorically called His sons, because in being manifestations of the Divine attributes they stand to Allåh in the same relation as a son stands to a father, being images of His attributes as a son is the image of a father.

The word anzala (infinitive noun inzål) is not applied only to the actual sending down of a thing, but also to making it accessible to men. Inzål means ß©ål or iblågh, just as iron and clothing are spoken of as having been sent down. It is in this sense that the cattle are spoken of here as being sent down for men. The four animals are mentioned particularly as being most useful for man.

I am so sorry they just don't get what I understand to be the meaning of the Son coming to earth.

I admit.... my theory is a little out there.... but why not give it some consideration before condemning every Christian to Hades.

God created humans... and He was so happy they turned out so well.... He showed them off.

That made Satan unhappy.... now being unhappy is a sign of choice. Humans can make decision just as Satan can... only humans can move about in plain sight where Satan is unseen. So Satan was jealous.

Humans were ignorant. They had no clue about consequences because there had never been consequence of any significance before.

Satan tried to convince them that consequences wouldn't get too bad... because they were the apple of God's eye and God was not going to let them spoil. But then he got them to eat the apple and they began to spoil.

God had to do something to make the spoilage stop. So He sent His Son.... to live a perfect human life... proving it can be done.... and then He required that His Son go through a brutal death so that Jesus could walk out of the grave under His own power.... proving that death can be conquered as well.

God wouldn't ask just any creation to do this. Going through Hades has consequences as well. God had to be the firsthand answer to the spoilage problem... and using His Son to prove that eternal life is possible.... well it put humans in check.

Like God said in the beginning of it all "It's a good thing they didn't eat from the tree of Life".

IMHO.... Jesus is the Son of God! Some people just take collecting dust collectors way too far!
