Quran 7:182. As for those who reject Our messages, We will gradually lead them from where they do not know.
183. And I will encourage them. My plan is firm.
184. Do they not think? There is no madness in their friend. He is but a plain warner.
185. Have they not observed the government of the heavens and the earth, and all the things that God created, and that their time may have drawn near? Which message, besides this, will they believe in?
186. Whomever God misguides has no guide. And He leaves them blundering in their transgression.
187. They ask you about the Hour, “When will it come?” Say, “Knowledge of it rests with my Lord. None can reveal its coming except He. It weighs heavily on the heavens and the earth. It will not come upon you except suddenly.” They ask you as if you are responsible for it. Say, “Knowledge of it rests with God,” but most people do not know.
188. Say, “I have no control over any benefit or harm to myself, except as God wills. Had I known the future, I would have acquired much good, and no harm would have touched me. I am only a warner, and a herald of good news to a people who believe.
189. It is He who created you from a single person, and made from it its mate, that he may find comfort with her. Then, when he has covered her, she conceives a light load, and she carries it around. But when she has grown heavy, they pray to God their Lord, “if You give us a good child, we will be among the thankful.
190. But when He has given them a good child, they attribute partners to Him in what He has given them. God is exalted above what they associate.
191. Do they idolize those who create nothing, and are themselves created?
192. And can neither help them, nor help their own selves?
193. And if you invite them to guidance, they will not follow you. It is the same for you, whether you invite them, or remain silent.
194. Those you call upon besides God are servants like you. So call upon them, and let them answer you, if you are truthful.
195. Do they have feet with which they walk? Or do they have hands with which they strike? Or do they have eyes with which they see? Or do they have ears with which they hear? Say, “Call upon your partners, then plot against me, and do not wait.”
196. “My Master is God, He Who sent down the Book, and He takes care of the righteous.”
197. Those you call upon besides Him cannot help you, nor can they help themselves.
198. And if you call them to guidance, they will not hear. And you see them looking at you, yet they do not see.
199. Be tolerant, and command decency, and avoid the ignorant.
200. And when a suggestion from Satan assails you, take refuge with God. He is Hearing and Knowing.
201. Those who are righteous—when an impulse from Satan strikes them, they remind themselves, and immediately see clearly.
202. But their brethren lead them relentlessly into error, and they never stop short.
203. If you do not produce a miracle for them, they say, “Why don’t you improvise one.” Say, “I only follow what is inspired to me from my Lord.” These are insights from your Lord, and guidance, and mercy, for a people who believe.
204. When the Quran is recited, listen to it, and pay attention, so that you may experience mercy.
205. And remember your Lord within yourself, humbly and fearfully, and quietly, in the morning and the evening, and do not be of the neglectful.
206. Those who are in the presence of your Lord are not too proud to worship Him. They recite His praises, and to Him they bow down.

This is from the commentary.

‘Ibåd is the plural of ‘abd, which means a servant or a slave, and applies to man as being a bondman to his Creator. Every created thing being in a state of subjugation to God, as man is, the idols, along with other false gods, are here spoken of as ‘ibåd, the significance being that they are all in a state of subjugation to God.
There is a prophecy here that not only will the power of the opponents be frustrated in the coming struggles when they will find no help from their gods, but those very gods, i.e. the idols, will not be able to save themselves and will be annihilated.
The primary significance of nazagha-h∂ is he censured him and charged him with a vice and spoke evil of him. It also signifies the sowing of dissensions, and it is used in this sense in 12:100. According to R, the word signifies entering upon an affair with the object of corrupting it. I prefer the first signification, taking nazgh as equivalent to false imputation, the devil in this case, as frequently in the Holy Qur’ån, standing for the devilish enemies who spread all kinds of false reports concerning the Prophet, against which he is told to seek refuge in Allåh.
Ôå’if means a visitation, originally going round. The visitation of the devil means the happening of any grievous incident or the coming of an affliction from the hands of the devil, or the wicked acting in opposition to the righteous. Or the devil’s visitation may signify anger which blinds a man.
Being endowed with insight, they see their way out of the affliction. Or, the meaning is that anger does not blind them.
Å©ål is the plural of a©l or a©ßl which means the evening time. Though the direction to remember God is given in general terms, and requires a man to glorify God at all times, yet the plural is used regarding the evening as referring to the fact that while there is only one regular prayer in the morning, in the evening there is a number of regular prayers, Òuhr, ‘A©r, Maghrib and ‘Isha’.

It would be easy for people to leave the church right now.

People are getting shot in church.

In Arizona, people are wearing their guns to church.

Will you wear a mask or will you tear the mask off of another who decides to wear one to church?

Likewise, synagogues and mosques are being attacked.

It would be really easy to leave structured religion right now.

Back in the days when the Quran was inked, people were also being murdered for their faith. The reason was sinful. The church wanted dominance over everyone everywhere. It wasn't, however, that they wanted to "include" them, it was their wages, their work, their lives that they wanted. The government was run by the church and the church was paying the government a tidy sum to do so. Anyone who wasn't a member of the church, paying their tithe to the church, was to be put out.... murdered if necessary. The church was corrupt..... just like the Temple was corrupt when Jesus was hung on a cross for being too popular.

Here are some interesting things that were going on when the Quran was inked.

618 AD T'ang Dynasty Founded- The T'ang Dynasty was founded in 618 by Li Yuan and his son Li Shih-min. The T'angs dynasty used Loyang and Ch'ang-an as eastern and western capitals. The basic administrative organization of the Tang dynasty would guide China until the 20th century.
622 AD Forced To Flee Mecca -The town elders of Mecca initially opposed the teachings of Mohammed. They forced him to flee to Medina. His flight became known as the Hegira.
630 AD Mecca Falls - Muhammad- Muhammed organized the commonwealth of Islam in and around Mecca. A series of battles was fought between Mecca and Medina. Under the Treaty of Hudaybiya, Muhammad's followers were finally given the right to undertake pilgrimages to Mecca. But when this right was denied them, they took control of the city.
632 AD First Islamic Caliphate- Muhammed died in 632 A.D. Abu Bakr became the first Caliph or 'agent of the prophet'. He brings rebellious Arab tribes under control.
637 AD Jerusalem Surrendered- Omar began a campaign against the Byzantines. The Arab forces defeated the Byzantines at the Battle of Yarmuk. The Arabs took Damascus and Emessa. In 638 Jerusalem surrendered to Omar's forces. Ceasaria and Aleppo were soon taken as well.
See.... history gets mean sometimes.... the smart guy will keep his life in line with God's Path.

I don't think God really cares if we wear a mask or not. He knows where we are headed long before we do.

God wants our attention.
