Year around riders...

Wind was a bit cool but sun felt warm...took a lil' chug around the southern Maryland Penninsula. Ol' FLH chugged just fine...them Shovelheads seem to dig the cool air. Any-hoo the other thread was too long and frayed so here's another. Ya'll get some time in the wind today?? :howdy:

Yup, never put her away...too many good riding days throughout the winter out here. Not like back home in Minne-snow-da. Save for a few black ice days it's been year-round ridin' here and in VaBeach. :yay:

I've been plagued with colds, flus, stomach viruses, and now allergies. I haven't ridden much this entire past year. And now, I'm afraid to ride for fear of blinding myself or creating a minor explosion should I sneeze inside the helmet. Friggin ridiculous. I'm not even sleeping good thanks this drippy faucet of a nose I have. I even have TWO LARGE air purifiers and a humidifier going in the house, that only provides minimal help. I even gave the dog to the g/f. So in my bubble of a house, I'm not too bad, but as soon as I walk outside...it's a sneeze fest.

Nope, not riding yet. I rode one day last week and that was all that my sinuses could muster. I'm hoping a move back to Philly gives me some relief. :dead:

Allergy tests and shots. Get it done, you won't believe the difference.

Already been thru it. And I don't want to know how much worse it would be had I not done it. This is just a bad year for it. My g/f's oldest has been hitting the asthma inhaler pretty hard the last couple of weeks. Docs are saying just to hold on. It's a bad year.

Thought it was a cold, but since last year was the first year I've had allergies, I'm guessing that's what it is.

Hit kind of weird this year, felt great then about 10:00 about two nights ago, one second I was feeling great, the next like crap.. it happened that quick, no warning.

Now I'm sitting in my office fighting to stay awake, not let my nose drip on the keyboard, feeling the pouding in my head.. and just all over feeling crappy.. NOT looking foward to mowing the lawn the first couple of times.

I feel your pain as we speak - head is pounding, nose stuffy, etc... If the weather stays like this, I'll be rippin up the roads. :howdy:

Tomorrow will have to ride uptown to get lunch and gas..

The ride isn't bad, although I'm sure it doesn't help.

Sneezing in a helmet? Reason #12 to get a flip up..

I tried riding with one, it sits in my garage. Too much damn noise.. I guess that's one reason cruiser riders go slow.. keeps the noise down.

Besides, where do the headphones go in a half helmet?

well the lawn mower was a no start yesterday:shrug:

Needs a new solenoid. and one tire needs the bead set. I guess no riding today either:tantrum:

I don't need headphones. I just reach over with my left thumb and turn up the volume on my 4 speaker AM/FM/WB/XM/CB/CD radio.

Hey,I agree with the allergy test ,I had the same problems and you would benefit from at least trying, I have been a nurse for 20 yr's and I done many allergy testing and many pts. have came ba k after they began allergy therpy
and was amazed it sometime will take up to 6 mo before you see the diff. if you begin allergy inj. but it is worth it,I have always had allergy problems but when I moved to Md. It seemed to be worse than ever.Give Dr.Verghese's office a call he and Dr. Simlote will let you know what is the problem.Hope this helps, they are located in Leonardtown and at the Phillip Bean Bldg.
